April 10, 2018

Sydney nursing home employee Dana Gray has admitted assaulting a dementia sufferer.

A NSW woman has pleaded guilty to assaulting a vulnerable dementia sufferer when she worked in a Sydney aged care home.

Dana Maree Gray, 59, faced Burwood Local Court on Tuesday after pleading guilty to one count of common assault against a female resident of the North Epping home in 2017.

Gray was caught when a co-worker who was concerned about residents' safety secretly placed a GoPro camera in the victim's room, according to a statement of facts tendered in court.
