The trial of an accused Queensland police whistleblower is set to resume at a Gold Coast court.
Former Sergeant Rick Flori has pleaded not guilty to two charges of misconduct after allegedly leaking CCTV footage of a handcuffed man being bashed by police at a basement carpark in 2012.
Flori has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
On Friday, the Southport District Court heard the man being kneed and punched by police withdrew his complaint late in 2012 sometime after a financial settlement was given to him.
