The son of stood-down Border Force head Roman Quaedvlieg has been fined for possessing ecstasy.

The son of stood-down Australian Border Force head Roman Quaedvlieg has been fined $500 after being caught with a small bag of ecstasy.

Che Quaedvlieg was nabbed on the evening December 6 with the drugs at Boondal Entertainment Centre and on Wednesday morning pleaded guilty to a possession charge at Brisbane Magistrates Court.

His father went on leave last May on full pay as allegations he helped arrange a job at Sydney Airport for his girlfriend are investigated.
