'No' supporters disappointed by gay vote

November 15, 2017

The Coalition for Marriage has described the vote in favour of same-sex marriage as disappointing.

The campaign against same-sex marriage is licking its wounds behind closed doors in Sydney.

Coalition for Marriage supporters gathered in the Treasury Room at the InterContinental Hotel in the CBD on Wednesday morning to hear the results of the postal survey won by the 'Yes' campaign.

The supporters refused to let media into the room while the results were read out at 10am, but indicated they would make a public announcement shortly after.
