Docker Johnson's assault trial starts

Fremantle AFL defender Michael Johnson is accused of striking a teacher at a kebab shop.

Fremantle AFL player Michael Johnson punched two men in the face and had to be restrained by his wife and friends during a late night assault at a Perth kebab shop, a Perth court heard.

Johnson's wife stole the phone of one of the men because he had filmed Johnson with his pants down.

CCTV footage was played in the Perth Magistrates Court showing an aggressive Johnson throwing punches and his wife abusing the men as he faces a trial after pleading not guilty to assault occasioning bodily harm.
