Police have been called to the home of NRL star Blake Ferguson amid concerns for his children.

Police and paramedics rushed to the Sydney home of NRL star Blake Ferguson early on Thursday morning amid concerns for the player's young children.

Police reportedly responded to an emergency telephone call from Ferguson's former NRL teammate Paul Carter.

"Officers from Marrickville Local Area Command attended about 5.15am and spoke with a 27-year-old man. NSW Ambulance paramedics checked two young children but no further police action is anticipated as this time," police said.
