Milat loses bid for convictions review

October 11, 2017

Notorious serial killer Ivan Milat has lost another bid for a review into his conviction.

One of Australia's most notorious killers has had his seventh application for a review into his conviction dismissed.

Ivan Milat, now 72, murdered seven backpackers in NSW's Belanglo State Forest in the 1990s and is serving seven consecutive life sentences.

NSW Supreme Court justice Megan Latham on Tuesday dismissed his latest application, saying the matters raised had been dealt with in previous applications.
