September 15, 2017

Sateki Siale has apologised to the family of the Sydney man he killed in a drunken frenzy in 2015.

A man who killed his neighbour with a smashed beer bottle has apologised to the victim's family in a Sydney court.

Sateki Siale, 26, was in August found guilty of murdering Kelly Ventigadoo outside his Lakemba flat in October 2015.

At his sentencing hearing at the NSW Supreme Court on Friday, Siale said: "I don't expect forgiveness but I just want to say I'm sorry."
