Vic announces new family violence minister

September 13, 2017

Natalie Hutchins has been named Victoria's women and prevention of family violence minister.

Natalie Hutchins is Victoria's new minister for women and prevention of family violence, filling the void after the death of Fiona Richardson.

Ms Hutchins, who will retain the industrial relations and Aboriginal affairs portfolios, is already a member of the state government's family violence cabinet committee.

Her local government portfolio will go to Minister for Consumer Affairs, Gaming and Liquor Regulation Marlene Kairouz.
