Ipswich council officer charged by CCC

Queensland's Crime and Corruption Commission has charged a senior Ipswich City Council staffer.

A senior Ipswich City Council employee has been charged by the Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission in relation to an incident of alleged misconduct.

The officer has been suspended on full pay.

The charge comes three months after former Ipswich mayor Paul Pisasale was arrested by CCC officers on charges of extortion and assault charges, however, it is unknown if the matters are related.
