Murder-accused wife denies sex video fears

September 12, 2017

Murder accused Qian Liu (right) says she did not believe her husband's threat over a sex video.

A Sydney restaurateur accused of murdering her husband has told a jury she did not believe he would send a video of them having sex to her personal trainer.

Qian Liu, 35, referred to a phone message sent to her by her husband, hours before he was stabbed, in which he wrote about sending the video of them making love "so he will give up".

Under cross-examination on Tuesday at her NSW Supreme Court trial where she has denied murdering her husband in January 2016, Liu said she found the message laughable and childish and she was not worried that he would send off the video.
