David Crisafulli (centre) has denied he's eyeing off the leadership of the Queensland LNP.

Former Newman government minister David Crisafulli is adamant he has no ambitions to take on the leadership of Queensland's Liberal National Party.

The 38-year-old is eyeing off a return to state politics after earning pre-selection for the Gold Coast seat of Broadwater, with many tipping him as a potential future premier.

But Crisafulli simply answered "no" when asked if he'd like the top job one day while attending a press conference alongside current state opposition leader Tim Nicholls on Tuesday.
