A NSW man is expected to front court in Brisbane charged with kidnapping and assaulting a woman earlier this week.
The 50-year-old man from San Remo on the Central Coast is alleged to have taken the 22-year-old from an address in the southern suburb of Darra about 5pm on Monday.
It is alleged the woman was driven to a number of nearby locations and assaulted before being released on Tuesday.
She was found by police and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The man was arrested that same day in Grafton, about 220km south of the border, and extradited to Queensland on Wednesday.
He remains in custody and is due to face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with kidnapping, deprivation of liberty, common assault and other serious offences.
