Tyres, inspections boost Carsales revenue

Carsales CEO Cameron McIntyre says his company is winning business from rivals such as Gumtree.

Online vehicle classifieds business has booked a 0.2 per cent lift in full-year net profit to $109.5 million.

Carsales' revenue rose 8.2 per cent to $372.1 million in the year to June 30 and will pay a fully franked final dividend of 21.5 cents a share, up two cents from a year ago.

Newly installed chief executive Cameron McIntyre said the group's core Australian business enjoyed strong revenue growth and the company expects the domestic businesses to continue to build scale in 2017/18.
