Slain Qld mum's home becomes crime scene

August 08, 2017

Queensland Police are hoping for CCTV footage to help solve the murder of Donna Steele.

Police are appealing for people who were in the far north Queensland town of Cooktown last week to come forward with dashcam and CCTV footage, in a bid to find out who killed Donna Steele.

The 42-year-old mum's body was found at the popular fishing spot of Leggett's Crossing on Sunday morning.

Police on Tuesday confirmed investigations into her suspicious death are continuing and urged anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage captured between August 1 and 3 to come forward.
